How to use Zapier to link your Loyalzoo account with other systems and automating loyalty points for online orders

Find steps below to integrate Loyalzoo with your e-commerce, online ordering platform or marketing system, and automate points, rewards, and other actions.

If you are using Shopify and would also like to enable online reward redemption please check out the article below.

For any other online ordering platforms, marketing systems or to automate other actions follow the steps below:

  1. Sign up for a Loyalzoo merchant account

  2. Sign up for a free account with Zapier at www.zapier.com

  3. Click this invite link to connect Loyalzoo with Zapier, then click the orange button called "Accept invite & go to dashboard"

  4. Create a new ZAP. If you wish to automatically issue loyalty points for online orders for example, choose a trigger from your e-commerce system. You will need your logins for that system.

  5. Then choose an Action, select Loyalzoo, then "Give Points"

  6. Make sure you fill out as many fields as you can using the PLUS button on the right of every field, and choosing the appropriate data from the e-commerce system. Ensure you specify at least an email address or a phone number for the customer, and a number of points (normally this is the amount spent)

  7. Save the Zap and test (see an example of steps at the bottom of this article)

***Please note if you are in Europe you will need to consider GDPR regulations for online orders relating to your loyalty program

If your e-commerce system is not supported by Zapier please get in touch and we can assist you with an alternative method.

Most businesses are happy to simply give points for online purchases and drive reward redemption for in-store purchases. If you would like to give customers the opportunity to redeem a reward online follow this guide here.

Example of online points with Woocommerce:

  1. Sign up for a Loyalzoo merchant account

  2. Sign up for a free account with Zapier at www.zapier.com

  3. Click this invite link to connect Loyalzoo with Zapier, then click the orange button called "Accept invite & go to dashboard"

  4. Choose Woocommerce as your “Event”/ “When this happens”

5. Select your trigger event as “order” - Press continue

6. Your “Do this” app should be Loyalzoo 1.2.1

7. Choose action event as “give points”

8. Afterwards, you need to map each field with information from Woocommerce. Example: The email field should be matched with Woocommerce billing email

9. The image below shows you exactly what kind of fields you should be mapping across.

10. Press continue

11. Test and Save
