Adding payment cards to customer profiles

How to store a card-on-file for customers and members

You can store a payment card on file for customers for 3 purposes:

  1. To collect one-time payments i.e. cancellation fees

  2. To pay for POS orders

You can collect a payment card in one of two ways:

1. Manually typing the customer's payment card. You can only access this button from the Loyalzoo in-store software from a web browser. Head to https://admin.loyalty-app.co/login then select payments, then add payment method and select "new card-manually".

2. Sending a secure payment link to the customer. Simply tap the "payments" button in the customer's profile, then "add payment method". Then select "New payment method-send link".

Make sure the customer has an email or phone number on file, and select "send and add", the customer will receive an SMS and/or email requesting their payment card details.

3. Make sure the customer has an accurate email or phone number on file, and select "send and add", the customer will receive an SMS and/or email requesting their payment card details.
